Cosmoscow 2018 Focus’ country of choice is Belgium. It will feature Artelli Gallery, Antwerp; NK Gallery, Antwerp; Samuel Maenhoudt Gallery, Knokke. This section is a rare chance for Russian audience to soak into the best examples of Belgian art and particularly works of Albert Pepermans, Alexandre Nicolas and Sylvain Polony. One of the artists brought to Moscow by NK Gallery is established Belgian artist, Hans Vandekerckhove, with a very distinctive meditative attitude and figurative approach to painting. This September his solo exhibition will be co-hosted in Moscow by the gallery together with the first Russian private contemporary art museum ART4. Among the artists represented by the Samuel Maenhoudt Gallery is Antoine Rose, whose work was very well received last year.
