Askeri Gallery

Askeri Gallery was founded in 2015 on the initiative of Polina Askeri, journalist and TV presenter, model and muse of famous Russian photographers. Polina has begun to collect works of contemporary artists many years ago and gradually decided to link her professional activity with art. In partnership with the web site ArtOnline24.com she opened her own art space on Povarskaya Street, in the center of Moscow. The gallery presents both recognized masters of painting, graphics and sculpture, and promising young authors. Askeri Gallery cooperates not only with Russian but also with foreign artists and introduces various trends in contemporary art: post-impressionism by Nikita Makarov, modernistic painting of Daria Kotlyarova, Romain Froquet’s street art (France), Conor McCreedy’s abstract artworks, hyperrealism of Paul Polanski and Mikhail Blinov, etc. Askeri Gallery is developing rapidly; it has already made some projects in partnership with MMOMA, Crocus City Mall and others, promoting its artists on different levels. Nowadays the goal of the gallery is to open to the public eye in Russia and worldwide talented artists of different styles and trends, whose works have not only artistic and collector’s value, but fit perfectly in any interior – from classic to contemporary. Artists showcased at Cosmoscow 2017: Conor McCreedy, Jae Yong Kim.
