Ural Vision Gallery

Ural Vision Gallery (UVG Art Gallery) was founded on the 14th of December in 2012 in Yekaterinburg. The first project of the gallery presented famous Saint Petersburg artists: Gregori Maiofis, Vitaly Pushnitsky, Evgeny Yufit and others. After the gallery continues working with famous Russian artists: Olga Tobreluts, Igor Pestov, Rostan Tavasiev, Andrey Gorbunov, Ivan Plusch, Zsolt Asztalos, Csaba Nemes and presents emerging artists: Daniil Arkhipenko, Irina Drozd, Maxim Svishchev.

On July 9, 2015 the exhibition “Rigor and Beauty. New Academy in Saint-Petersburg” (Timur Novikov, Oleg Maslov, Viktor Kuznetsov, Olga Tobreluts and Andrey Khlobystin) was opened at the Ludwig Museum in Budapest, UVG was the main investor and organizator of this project. It was the first time at the Recent history when Russian contemporary art was presented to the European museum society, to collectors and audience in a large museum retrospective, it became a significant event in the cultural life of Budapest. In that time in 2015 UVG opens the branch gallery in Budapest, where the exhibitions by Russian and international artists are taking place.

Today UVG operates not only as the exhibition space but also as the art-residence, giving to Russian artists opportunity to live and work in Budapest and to present the results on personal exhibition.

During the working period, Ural Vision Gallery has participated in numerous International art fairs, such as Art Paris Art Fair, Arte Fiera (Bologna), Vienna Contemporary, Art Vilnius, Art Market Budapest, Art Moscow, Cosmoscow.
