KultProect Gallery

KultProekt is a Moscow gallery dedicated to contemporary art. Established in 2008 by Julia Manusevich and Irina Solntseva, the gallery is located in the center of Moscow near the largest museums in the city. The gallery works with both major masters of the art scene and talented young artists. KultProekt Gallery has realized more than 100 projects. The gallery aims at conducting thematic art exhibitions presented with complex projects, which include the publication of catalogs, master classes of artists and photographers, meetings and lectures. The gallery aims at conducting series of exhibition projects combined in a single cycle. The gallery hosts exhibitions which explore interdisciplinary interests. Solo exhibitions are rather rare for the gallery; they mostly represent artists of a truly polyphonic talent who work in different genres simultaneously acting as authors of texts and theatre designs, masters of livre d'artiste and brilliant painters, decorators, and architects. Curators of the gallery are interested in immediate problems related to environmental issues and the development of architecture. Uniting in one project artists of different generations, artistic techniques while building a new curatorial context is one of the main tasks of the gallery. Other tasks include the strengthening of the artistic statements in the field of like-minded people's discourse, the unification of different works with a common idea.
