“Miras” means “heritage” in Turkic. Gallery artists are a rich cultural cross-section of several generations, among which there are both recognized masters and young, promising contemporary artists. This is one of the first private galleries in Russia. It was founded in 1994 together with the artists of the Genghis Khan group. In the 1990s and 2000s, the gallery actively represented Ufa artists at the international art fairs Art Manezh and Art Moscow.
The gallery plays an important role in the formation of the art market and in the promotion of contemporary fine art, is actively engaged in exhibition projects, the formation of private and corporate collections, and also attracts the attention of collectors and patrons. The gallery regularly hosts lectures, tours, and creative meetings with artists and curators.
In 2016, Miras Gallery organized and hosted an international symposium on sculpture in stone. As a result, an alley of modern sculpture ARTTERRIA appeared in Ufa, which became a point of attraction for residents and guests of the capital.
This year, the gallery took part in the Contour contemporary graphics fair in Nizhny Novgorod and in the first SCAN FAIR contemporary art fair in Krasnoyarsk. 2024, the gallery celebrates its 30th anniversary.
