NAMEGALLERY

NAMEGALLERY contemporary art gallery was opened in St. Petersburg in 2011. The director and founder of the gallery is Oksana Korneeva, and the permanent art director is Natalia Ershova.

The first exhibitions in NAMEGALLERY were dedicated to the classics of contemporary St. Petersburg art. From the very opening, among the gallery's authors were both recognized masters such as Vladimir Shinkarev, Inal Savchenkov, Olga Tobreluts, Solomon Rossin, and iconic artists of the last decade.

However, the gallery did not limit its circle only to these artists. The gallery's work is guided by the identification of new names and promotion of young, promising authors, collaboration with various institutions, and cooperation with major museums, foundations, and exhibition spaces.

It was in NAMEGALLERY that the first solo exhibitions of the group “North-7” took place, from which many famous St. Petersburg artists like Leonid Tshe, Anna Andrzhievskaya, Asya Marakulina, and Alexander Tsikarishvili “grew up”.

Now the gallery is dealing with the younger generation of artists, among them Dima Korolev (samuill marshak), Galya Fadeeva, Rodion Kitaev and many others.

NAMEGALLERY is a place where new names are discovered, where they give an opportunity for experiments and support the creative growth of established artists. The gallery focuses on painting and graphics at a high academic level, as well as three-dimensional installations, performances, and media art.
