Musem of Moscow (Zubovskiy Bul'var, 2)
The third edition explores the development of solidarity relations and horizontal ties. An important component of the fair is the presentation of different types of interaction between contemporary art and entrepreneurship, which will provide young artists with useful experience of relevant, creative, and effective cooperation with business. The goal of the project is to discover and support new names, demonstrate the development trajectories of young art, as well as facilitate and promote various non-profit initiatives that, along with commercial structures, contribute to the development of artistic activity and the formation of an open discursive space.
blazar 2022 features a section of 60 independent artists, an education section, 25 gallery booths, and a new digital art section. Like last year, together with the Agency for Creative Industries, subordinate to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow, a Created in Moscow section was designed for Moscow galleries. For the first time, the program is enhanced with a special section of digital and NFT art curated by blazar together with the koshta.collective studio. The fair is accompanied by a lecture program featuring discussions between artists, curators, patrons, and art managers; a program of performances; tours for children; master classes; and a parallel program outside the fair’s venue.
