Responsible Choiсe

The Collector’s Eye curated exhibition takes place as part of Cosmoscow for the fourth year in a row. It is once again curated by collector and art adviser Olga Vashchilina. In 2017 the exhibition is titled Responsible Choice, focusing attention on the responsibility each art institution takes by making acquisitions of artworks. Collector’s Eye exhibition illustrates the ‘responsible choice’ of Russia’s leading museums and private foundations, reflecting current tendencies in institutional art collecting instrumental for private collectors.

This year the exhibition features artworks from the following collections: Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Russian Impressionism, the Foundation of Vladimir Smirnov and Konstantine Sorokin, Gogova Foundation, Pechersky Family Art Foundation, Popov Foundation.
