In commuting distance from Antwerp and Brussels and located near several contemporary art centers, Tatjana Pieters is a promotion gallery for a select group of artists. Devoted to exhibition making and the importance of contemporary art within a social framework, the gallery chose to open a museum space in the peripheral context of Ghent instead of the more expensive Brussels. After operating from a loft in an old furniture factory, the gallery relocated to a former warehouse in the industrial area of Ghent. The 400 m2 ground floor was transformed into a monumental space that could integrate the professional requirements suitable to the long term representational function & ambition of the gallery. The gallery is finishing the 2016/2017 season with a collective group exhibition which features both artists represented by the gallery and non-representatives. The 2017 / 2018 season begins in September 2017 with a solo exhibition by Belgian artist Philippe Van Snick.
Artists showcased at Cosmoscow 2017: Henning Hamilton, Veronika Pausova, Michael Pybus, Derek Sullivan, Philippe Van Snick.
