Yoomoota

Yoomoota is an art space based in Bangkok, dedicated to multidisciplinary approaches and original genres within contemporary art. The gallery represents internationally acclaimed artist and designer Taras Zheltyshev (Taras Yoom), a regular participant in major art fairs such as PAD, Maison&Objet, Collectible, Define: Seoul, and Art Busan. His artworks — furniture, lighting, sculptures, paintings, collectible toys, and jewelry — have been featured in global media, including Financial Times, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Elle Decoration, and others.

The Yoomoota collection has been exhibited in London, Paris, Brussels, Milan, New York, Seoul, and Bangkok, and has appeared in group shows at the Tretyakov Gallery and the Zaryadye Park Underground Museum. Selected works are part of the permanent collections of the Red Dot Design Museum (Xiamen) and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. In December 2025, Yoomoota will present a booth at Art Miami, the largest contemporary art fair in the United States.

With a background in medicine, Taras Zheltyshev draws inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s creative methodology, using his signature style of biomorphic surrealism to explore the interplay between humans and the world. Combining craftsmanship with innovative techniques, the artist builds a fantastical universe, reflecting all aspects of life through functional objects.
