Agency.ArtRu

Agency.ArtRu is a contemporary art institution founded in 2011 in Moscow. We perform as an exhibition-focused platform but also provide a full-scale collection building, art consulting, and research activities. More than a hundred different varieties of exhibitions were organized in our space during the past 10 years, from traditional expositions with museum-level artworks to cross-media projects of young artists. 

Our focus is both on working with established artists who have formed the Russian contemporary art scene and on supporting promising names. 

Artworks of the gallery’s artists are included in museum collections worldwide: MMOMA, New York; Maison Européenne de la Photographie; Tate Modern, London; State Tretyakov Gallery; the State Russian Museum; Luciano Benetton Imago Mundi Collection; Alberto Sandretti Foundation; Kolodzei Art Foundation (of Russian and Eastern European Art), USA; and more. 

Authors presented in Agency.ArtRu are award winners of World Press Photo and Kandinsky Prize, participants of important biennale such as Manifesta and the Venice Biennale.
