XL Projects

XL Projects is an exhibition and curatorial institution affiliated with XL Gallery. Opened in 2004 as a small experimental space, it was relaunched in 2012 as a curatorial venture aimed at museum-level exhibitions. XL Projects developed more than 40 projects, from solo exhibitions (like “Archive M”, late Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe’s retrospective; and “Countdown”, Elena Elagina and Igor Makarevich (both in Moscow Museum of Modern Art) to large-scale projects (like “Reconstruction”, joint project with Garage Museum and Ekaterina Foundation).
