The POGODINA GALLERY was founded in Moscow in 1999 by curator and gallerist Vera Pogodina. The gallery’s primary focus is on two disparate poles of Russian art from the 1980s and 1990s: on one side, refined St. Petersburg neo-academicism; on the other, provocative Moscow conceptualism. Over the years, the gallery has held dozens of solo and group exhibitions, participated in domestic and international contemporary art fairs, and collaborated with charitable foundations and projects.
