LUCH Gallery

The LUCH Gallery was founded in 2009 in St Petersburg and has been based in Moscow since 2013. In 2022, the gallery opened its permanent venue at the Kub Exhibition Centre. Prior to this opening, the gallery had been organising solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art at various venues and participating in contemporary art fairs. Luch Gallery has been a member of the Association of Galleries since 2024.

The gallery focuses on ‘New Wave’ artists and dynamic creators working in both traditional and cutting-edge techniques. Some of them trace the lineage of Russian art back to folk art, whilst others to the avant-garde and the art of the 1930s, yet they are all united by careful attention to the balance between conceptual depth, aesthetic quality and technical execution.

The LUCH Gallery is a curatorial project established to host solo and group exhibitions of contemporary art. It aims to draw attention to contemporary Russian visual art, broaden public understanding of it and enhance its significance as a socio-cultural phenomenon. The project is aimed at the widest possible audience.
