Yoomoota

Yoomoota is an art space based in Bangkok, dedicated to multidisciplinary approaches and original genres within contemporary art. The gallery represents internationally acclaimed artist Taras Zheltyshev (Taras Yoom), a participant in major art fairs such as PAD, Art Miami, Zurich Art Weekend, Art Busan, Milan Design Week, and Cosmoscow. With a background in medicine, he approaches art as a means of exploring the complex interplay between humanity and the world, defining his visual language as biomorphic surrealism.

The Yoomoota collection includes sculptures, paintings, collectible design, installations, public art, and mixed-media works.  The works have been exhibited at the Tretyakov Gallery, the Zaryadye Park Underground Museum, the Museum of Moscow, Skolkovo, and SPIEF. Functional objects are held in the permanent collections of the Red Dot Design Museum in Xiamen, The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, and the Museum of the Chess Federation of Russia.
