VP-studio (Vera Pogodina Gallery)

VP-studio (Vera Pogodina Gallery) was founded in 2000. It is headed by art director Vera Pogodina. VP-studio represents a new generation of Russian artists linked to the Moscow conceptual art movement of the 1980’s. In 2001 the gallery started a series of thematic Russian Reading Book offering a new visual reading of the most famous Russian novels from the 19th century such as War and Peace (2001), Fathers and Sons (2001), Woe from Wit (2007), Dead Souls (2009), Wolves and sheep (2013), Journey From Petersburg to Moscow (2015). Over the years the gallery has held solo exhibitions of the following artists: the Fourth Height group, Boris Stuchebrukov, Vladimir Kupriyanov, Olga Soldatova, Andrei Filippov, Konstantin Batynkov, Alexandra Yulikova, Arkadiy Nasonov, Sergei Volkov, Boris Matrosov, and others. Since 2000 VP-studio annually took part in Moscow Art Fair and participated in Berlin Art Forum and Art Athens Fair.
