DiDi Gallery

DiDi Gallery was established in 2003 and for the last 10 years has been specializing in the Russian non-official underground art of the middle and the second half of the 20th century. Along with the recognized masters of the so-called second wave of the Russian avant-garde, the gallery selectively presents the contemporary artists from St. Petersburg.

Some notable Moscow artists presented in the gallery are P. Belenok, D. Krasnopevtsev, L. Purygin, A. Petrov, M. Roginsky, O. Tselkov, M. Shvartsman, O. Rabin, E. Steinberg, etc. The list of the St. Petersburg artists includes the famous school of V. Sterligov (A. Baturin, T. Glebova, and others), such artists as L. Borisov, G. Bogomolov, E. Rukhin, E. Mikhnov-Voitenko, T. Novikov, E. Figurina.

For many years the priority of the gallery has been to present and sale art of the highest quality, but that doesn’t limit a list of the artists, though it implies the strict selection of the exhibited art pieces. The gallery’s curators intentionally alternate the projects of well-known masters with the personal and group shows of young talented artists.

Artists presented at Cosmoscow 2020: Leonid Borisov, Victor Remishevsky, Alexandra Kokacheva.
