H.L.A.M. Gallery

The Voronezh gallery of contemporary art H.L.A.M. was founded in 2007 by Alexey Gorbunov. The mission of the gallery is to promote the development of contemporary art in Russia, and to explore new names. By 2020, there were held 131 exhibitions, some of them gained nominations, and artists became winners of awards in the field of contemporary art (V. Kandinsky award – 2011, 2013; 'Innovation award – 2010, 2012). The artists who started their career with the help of H.L.A.M. or were actively exposed in the gallery (I. Gorshkov, A. Zhilyaev, I. Dolgov, N. Alekseev, K. Garshin, K. Savelyev, O. Dautov) are widely demanded.

The gallery continues to support the newest young representatives of contemporary art. Activity of the gallery caused an impulse of carrying out in Voronezh of an annual Platonov Arts Festival since 2011. In 2009 in H.L.A.M. gallery the Voronezh Center of contemporary art became firmly established, which successfully keeps its activity in the field of education and keeps running art community in the city already for 10 years. Since 2012 the gallery annually participates in the international fairs of contemporary art, and once gained the diploma ‘For innovation in art forms’. In 2018 the H.L.A.M. gallery booth was recognized as The Best Cosmoscow Booth.
