ArtSvit

Opened in 2013, became the largest art space in the center of Dnepropetrovsk. In collaboration with artists, as well as leading galleries and auction houses, the gallery aims to represent current trends in art culture, arranging exhibitions, artist talks, educational programs for children and adults, as well as publishing catalogs and art books. The gallery’s catalogue feature is its vast collection of Ukrainian paintings, works on paper and sculptures from the Soviet and contemporary periods.

One of the gallery’s priorities is to support and promote young artists. The gallery strives to discover new talents and develop contemporary Ukrainian art in general.

In its first year, the gallery managed to conduct several important exhibitions, launch an educational course about art for children, publish a pilot version of a book on graphics and represent its artists at international shows in Poland and Austria.

The gallery aims to maintain dialogue between the past and present, tradition and experimentation, and at the same time keep art approachable for the general public of all ages.
