Window Project

Window Project, a contemporary art gallery based in Tbilisi, Georgia, presents local and foreign artists. The gallery puts a strong focus on promotion of young Georgian artists and exposing artworks of a “forgotten” older generation to contribute to the dialogue between the past and the present.

The project was launched in 2013 in an alternative exhibition space, in the show window of the Pantomime Theatre on Rustaveli avenue, to support local talents, both emerging and well-known ones, who inherit post-Soviet tradition. The main purpose of the concept gallery in the show window was to make art available for broad audiences.

In 2019, Window Project opened a new exhibition space to invite artists and curators for various projects. The gallery is aimed at long-term collaboration with artists, public and private institutions, and art amateurs, developing a strong, cognitive art community with common values and aspirations.

Artists presented at Cosmoscow 2021: Uta Bekaia, Vakhtang Kokiashvili, Koka Ramishvili, Luca Lazar, Nikolay Koshelev, Richard Hutten.
