XL Projects

XL Projects is a non-commercial institution affiliated with XL Gallery. Opened in 2004 as a small experimental space it was relaunched in 2012 as a curatorial venture aimed at museum level exhibitions. XL Projects developed more than 30 projects, from solo exhibitions (like “Archive M”, late Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe’s retrospective in Moscow Museum of Modern Art; “Countdown” of Igor Makarevich and Elena Elagina in the same museum) to large-scale projects (like “Reconstruction”, in collaboration with Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and Ekaterina Cultural Foundation).
