Marina Gisich Projects

Marina Gisich Projects is an exhibition space with a unique program aimed at experimental projects and artistic practices. It is a platform that allows you to trace the interaction between different areas of modern visual culture, where contemporary art is only one of the elements. Marina Gisich Projects focuses on projects at the intersection of modern visual art, science, technology, theater, design, music, dance, and performative practices.

The Marina Gisich Projects space is located in the immediate vicinity of the main Marina Gisich Gallery site on the Fontanka River embankment. It "keeps" its history: from 2009 to 2020, this exhibition space was the main one for the gallery.

One of the important tasks of the project is to promote the circulation of ideas and strategies between various "cultural agents", institutions within the Russian artistic "field" and interaction with the foreign professional community. In this regard, the strategic direction of Marina Gisich Projects is consistent cooperation with institutional curators and institutions, as well as interaction with independent Russian and foreign curators.
