АРТ4

The ART4 Museum is a museum of contemporary Russian art. Its history began in 2007, when collector Igor Markin opened Russia's first private museum of contemporary art in Khlynovsky cul-de-sac in the center of Moscow. There is a permanent exhibition — more than 1,000 works by major Russian artists, including Eric Bulatov, Oleg Vasiliev, Vladimir Veisberg, Konstantin Zvezdochetov, Ilya Kabakov, Komar and Melamid, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Vladimir Nemukhin, Timur Novikov and 150 other names.

In 2008, ART4 changed its format: the museum opened once a week, and then it received visitors only one night a year — the Night of Museums. In December 2015, ART4 relaunched with a new concept and slogan "Museum selling Art". There is no permanent exhibition in ART4 now, but personal exhibitions of both famous mastodons of Russian art and talented young artists open every month.

Since 2022, the ART4 Museum has been holding an annual contemporary art fair "DEAD END" within its walls. As part of the open call for contemporary artists, ART4 introduced 3 prizes: the possibility of holding a personal exhibition in the museum, the purchase of works in the collection and a cash prize.

Artists represented at Cosmoscow 2023: Dima Filippov, Anya Acorn, Mikhail Pershko.
