PiranesiLAB

PiranesiLAB is a laboratory and online gallery of contemporary print art, opened by artist Alexey Veselovsky in 2016 on the territory of the CTI "Fabrika". The mission of PiranesiLAB — the formation of a platform for expanding ideas about the possibilities and diversity of print art — was embodied in an educational trajectory aimed at interacting with young authors, and publishing activities, within which a full cycle of creating author's print art was carried out. The principle of professional collaboration and the development of the potential of classical printing techniques formed the basis of both creative and exhibition processes taking place in PiranesiLAB.

The laboratory works with classics of modern art, representatives of the "older generation" — Olga Chernysheva, Mishmash, Ekaterina Rozhkova, Igor Makarevich, Boris Orlov, Dmitry Kavka, Lyudmila Krutikova, and with young promising artists — Alyona Paskhina, Katya Pravda, Daria Golovkova. In grant and partner projects, artists are involved in all stages of the printing process and are in continuous communication with the artist-master of printing, representing expert technical and artistic support.
