Palaty Gallery

«Palaty» is the first gallery of functional art and local design in Russia. Founded in St. Petersburg in 2020. «Palaty» presents the works of Russian-speaking authors collected during expeditions to the regions of Russia. Whether it's piece-by-piece or small-run functional works, all the gallery items evoke emotions and create a positive user experience.

Over three years of work, the project has naturally grown into a gallery format with its own set of authors, rare objects and a piece edition. In the spring of 2023, the Chambers representative office opened in Moscow.

The mission of «Palaty» is to find and apply local DNA in objects relevant to world design. The goal of the project is not to isolate Russian into a separate category, but to introduce it as a unique feature of what is in demand in a global sense.
