PiranesiLAB

PiranesiLAB is a laboratory and gallery of artistic experimental printmaking, established in 2016 by Alexey Veselovsky at the CCI Fabrika, the oldest Moscow creative cluster. PiranesiLAB's mission is to create a platform for expanding ideas about the possibilities and diversity of printmaking. The laboratory's activities are aimed at a joint creative process with key representatives of the contemporary art scene (Olga Chernysheva, Vladimir Dubosarsky, Kirill Chelushkin, Leonid Tishkov, Alexander Yulikov), as well as support for young authors thanks to a special grant from PiranesiLAB and CCI Fabrika. PiranesiLAB produces the creation of print artworks, providing artists with expert and technical assistance at all stages of the work.

The laboratory integrates exhibitions into its own space: it connects the backstage of printing processes and artistic results — limited edition and unique works. PiranesiLAB also participates in partnership projects with galleries, cultural institutions (pop/off/art, AZ/ART, a–s–t–r–a gallery, 3L Gallery, Solodovnya), demonstrating the diversity of the medium and the originality of the author's approaches to it.

Since 2024, PiranesiLAB has been a member of the Association of Galleries. As part of the Association, the laboratory is involved in the development and approval of the principles and conventions for market representation of printmaking art.
