Deep List

Deep List is a hybrid project that rethinks gallery strategies and collecting possibilities. The project is both a curatorial selection and a quick response to the collector, while maintaining an independent environment for artists.

The Deep List project’s title is built on a play on words and refers to American composer Pauline Oliveros’ concept of “deep listening”. Based on the idea of the fundamental differences between the concepts of “hearing” and “listening”, Oliveros has developed techniques to involve the listener in the process of creation and appearance of sounds in space.
