Heritage Gallery specialises in modern contemporary collectible art and design. It has a mission to promote young artists and designers within an environment that encourages local crafting and production. All collaborating artists are subject to a careful and considered selection process. The Gallery was established by Kristina Krasnyanskaya in 2008. Kristina is an art historian, curator, and fine art expert. She is the Head of the Board of Trustees of Thessaloniki Museum of Modern Art (collection by G. Kostaki).
Heritage Gallery has held more than 80 exhibitions, including international museums. For the last seven years, it has constantly participated in multiple international art fairs, including Miami Art Basel, BRAFA, Nomad, and the Salon Art & Design Fair (NY and Basel).
In 2019, Heritage Gallery (together with the Swiss publishing house Sheidegger & Spiess) released the book “From Constructivism to Modernism”, which became the first fundamental study dedicated to the history of Soviet design, covering the period 1920–1980. This research has inspired talented artists and designers from post-Soviet territories and around the world.
The gallery cooperates with the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Decorative Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Saloniki.
