Originating in Paris and directed by curator Ekatherina Iragui, Galerie Iragui has traveled over France to Russia through a fusion of exhibitions, installations and special events both in Russia and France and nally opened a permanent space in Moscow in 2008.
Beyond its gallery-based curatorial projects, Galerie Iragui collaborates successfully with a number of major Russian museums, the Moscow International Biennale and Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, along with French cultural institutions.
The gallery supports the careers of 20 artists and creates an international dialogue through presenting russian artists at the European art scene and bringing brand-new trends of contemporary art from Europe to Russia. The gallery also provides advising services helping international collectors and institutions acquire russian art and aims to introduce contemporary art to a new generation of Russian collectors. Galerie Iragui's own collection is focused on graphic works of contemporary Russian art.
