The 10th Cosmoscow contemporary art fair opened at Gostiny Dvor

Sept. 14, 2022

The Preview of the 10th Cosmoscow contemporary art fair's edition is taking place in Moscow. The fair will open its doors to the general public tomorrow. This year, Cosmoscow is supported by Official Partner Tinkoff Private, the Lunar project from Hutton, as well as partners Beluga, Tete de Cheval, BORK, and ZENIT and official hotel St.Regis Moscow Nikolskaya. As usual, the fair's main venue is Gostiny Dvor (4, Ilyinka St).

Margarita Pushkina, Cosmoscow Founding Director:

“The core concept behind Cosmoscow remains solid from year to year. The development of the Russian art market has always been a top priority for us. Today, it needs our help more than ever. We want to keep in touch with our friends, allies, and everyone else involved in the arts and culture. Being a complex organism, this season, the fair continues to look for new formats: we have prepared a number of impressive special projects with key artists and collectors, as well as with big brands who are our partners.”

Cosmoscow welcomes 72 galleries, including 11 non-capital participants from St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kaluga, and Vladivostok. Besides traditional sections of the fair such as MAIN, DESIGN, EDITIONS, and FRAME, two new ones (DIGITAL and NETWORK) were introduced this year.

Marina Gisich Gallery was awarded the Best Stand Prize (the jury included Marina Shults, Mikhail Alshibaya and Andrey Erofeev). The gallery has participated in all editions of the fair since its inception, and next year Marina Gisich Gallery will have the opportunity to participate in the fair for free.
