Samokat
At Cosmoscow, Samokat will present a large-scale installation by Dmitry Kavka. The work refers to the history of the first optical devices, a magic lantern or a phantascope, which made it possible to “revive” images. Just like them, the installation will become a tool for observing the play of imagination: the viewer will find himself inside a kaleidoscope of images collected from scraps of memory and everyday details. These fantasies will remind you of dreams, where familiar fragments come together to form new stories.
In the center of the exhibition there will be an interactive game about imagination, which will help you listen to yourself to determine your mood or desire. For completing it, Samokat will prepare gifts: one of Dmitry Kavka’s themed prints and a small compliment.
