What art to collect? Every beginning collector asks himself this question. And it responds depending on aesthetic preferences, prices and values, current trends, the influence of society and time. How are our ideas about what we consider truly important and valuable art changing? How do we choose? What influence does art life, communities of artists and artists have on this? How to explain this avant-garde beginning of the 20th century? Why something that until recently would not have been considered a work of art suddenly becomes a coveted object?
