
On April 9 and 13, the Eliseevsky hosted events dedicated to the 13th Charity Auction of the Cosmoscow Foundation for Contemporary Art. Thanks to patrons, collectors, and partners united by their desire to contribute to the development of the arts, the event raised 18 million rubles. The proceeds will be used for the Foundation's projects dedicated to contemporary art support. Partners of the evening were: Sber Private Banking, R4S, Beluga, Tete de Cheval, and Edis.
Margarita Pushkina, founder of the Cosmoscow, welcomed guests, and Andrey Malakhov hosted the auction. The pre-auction exhibition and charity auction were attended by: Azu Nwagbogu, Mikhail Kamensky, Natalia Opaleva, Sergey Popov, Denis Khimilyaine, Alexandra Lekomtseva, Alisa Prudnikova, Valentina Davydik, Ksenia Solovieva, Anton Kozlov, Taus Makhacheva, Elvira Tarnogradskaya, Igor Samolet, Pavel Pepperstein, Milena Orlova, Marina Loshak, Alexander Blanar, Anzor Kankulov, Elina Tabidze, Alexandra Zharkova, Anastasia Reshetova, Ksenia Tarakanova, Pavel Kamin, Anka Akhalaia, Liza Aminova, Anastasia Poletaeva, Anastasia Kamenskaya, and others.
The auction generated 18 million rubles in sales. The proceeds will be used by the Cosmoscow Foundation to support contemporary art in Russia, including the creation of new works, replenishment of the Russian museum collections, organization of educational programs, and the expansion of the Foundation's non-profit activities.
The most expensive piece sold at auction was a work by young artist Nikita Kroko titled Building Castles in the Sky, fetching 1,100,000 rubles. A unique lot from Sber Private Banking — the Central Box (Box No. 15) at the Bolshoi Theater — also sold for 1,100,000 rubles.
